A man wearing a gas mask and tactical gear forced his way into a Boston-area courthouse on Monday and allegedly pepper-sprayed and physically assaulted several people before he was arrested.
Security video shows a female court officer trying to stop the man from entering the Woburn District Court. The man, identified by the district attorney's office as Nicholas Akerberg, is seen storming inside and appearing to pepper-spray the officer.
Judge finds cause to hold Trump administration in criminal contempt over deportation flights
A federal judge said in an order Wednesday that he has found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt over deportation flights it sent to El Salvador.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg found "the Government’s actions on that day demonstrate a willful disregard for its Order, sufficient for the Court to conclude that probable cause exists to find the Government in criminal contempt.”
