American Fact of the Day!

The Rainbow State Is A Name That Fits Hawaii: This is one of the unique USA facts. No matter whatever Hawaiian Island you visit, you will be taken aback by its incredible tropical environment and rainbow-covered landscapes because rainbows are rather abundant there. You won’t need to search for a location to observe a rainbow because they can be seen anywhere. This spectacular occurrence is also made possible by the abundance of pollen, air pollution and cresting waves.

CNN Nails White House Over Biden Falsehood About Contact With Son's Business

Joe Biden's election prospects just seem to be getting worse and worse. The now official impeachment inquiry and the controversy over his son Hunter blowing off a subpoena to testify to the House Oversight Committee is not likely to help Joe's chances.

Hunter Biden demonstrated that he could have showed up for the Oversight deposition, but essentially gave the House a big finger by showing up on the Senate side of the Capitol and attacking "MAGA Republicans" in a speech. Among the things he said was that his father was not "financially involved" in his business.

That was moving the goalposts yet again from what Joe Biden had started out saying that he didn't have contact with/speak to his son's business associates. That also leaves open Hunter is admitting Joe was "involved" in other ways. But millions of dollars were flowing to the Biden family and Devon Archer said they were selling the Biden name as the "brand."

White House Counsel spokesperson Ian Sams went on CNN to help clean up the mess and it did not go well. So when Hunter has just done something he could be prosecuted for, maybe that's not the time to say that Joe is "proud" of his son?

Facebook/Meta Sends DEI to DIE as a Former Executive Lacking in Moral Fiber Bites the Hand That Feeds Her

Barbara Furlow-Smiles was the "global diversity executive" with Facebook from 2017-2021. Furlow-Smiles did this for four years and managed to pocket $1 million a year on top of her generous salary. How did she do that, you might ask? Furlow-Smiles linked payment apps to company-issued Facebook credit cards, then made real payments to fake vendors, among other schemes, and took in kickbacks from these schemes. Go woke, go even more broke, because you got defrauded.

U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan said of Furlow-Smiles: This defendant abused a position of a trust as a global diversity executive for Facebook to defraud the company of millions of dollars, ignoring the insidious consequences of undermining the importance of her DEI mission. Motivated by greed, she used her time to orchestrate an elaborate criminal scheme in which fraudulent vendors paid her kickbacks in cash.

She even involved relatives, friends, and other associates in her crimes, all to fund a lavish lifestyle through fraud rather than hard and honest work.

Like all of the companies mentioned, Facebook/Meta doesn't have a diversity problem, it has a morality problem. Rather than deal with the significant egg on its face, Facebook/Meta and its fellow travelers over at Google are working overtime to scrub Barbara Furlow-Smiles and all the supposed good she did as a representative of DEI off the internet.
